About Us
Dr. Rosenblatt earned his Medical Degree from Des Moines University in Iowa, the same
University in which he was born. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, New York. Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation, also known as Physiatry, is a medical specialty which helps
people with musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, including acute and chronic back and
neck pain.
Dr. Rosenblatt obtained additional training in Interventional Pain Medicine under Dr. Phil
Fisher at the Huntington Spine and Rehab Center.
In 1984 Dr. Rosenblatt moved to South Florida. For nine years, he was Chairman of the
Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NOVA Southeastern University and
also worked as Director of the Department of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation at the
Southeastern Medical Center. He lectured extensively for various hospitals, rehabilitation
centers and medical associations. During his years in Florida, Dr. Rosenblatt worked as
team physician for multiple high school track and competitive teams. As a physician, he
excels at helping his patients overcome injury and return to their game. He takes an active
role in preventive medicine by educating patients on avoiding sports and fitness related
injuries.
In 1993, Dr., Rosenblatt returned to the Northeast, taking positions as Director,
Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at St. Barnabus Hospital in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Rosenblatt has held academic appointments at Columbia University College of
Physicians and Surgeons, New York Medical College, New York College of Osteopathic
Medicine; and is presently clinical assistant professor of rebilitation medicine at NYU
School of Medicine.
During the past several years he has held positions in local hospitals and medical groups.
Dr. Rosenblatt is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,
American Board of Pain Medicine, American Board of Pain Management, and has Added
Qualifications in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Rosenblatt's practice specializes in Interventional Pain Management, Physical
Medicine Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Electrodiagnostics as well as evaluation and
treatment of patients with impairment, disability and chronic pathology. His fellowship
training gives him a unique insight when evaluating and diagnosing patients in his efforts
to help them return to an active and productive lifestyle.
